In General:

Princess Diana was taller than average and was sometimes a bit cunky. She was however usually very slender and quite attractive. She has a long narrow face and high forehead typical of those with Sagittarius rising. Picture

These are the houses of you and I. Inter-relationships are important when this axis is emphisised. Diana was fond of people and people were very fond of here. It was her ability to relate to all different kinds of people that helped even her partner, Prince Charles', image. She had an ability to relate to the common person and the common people responded with adoration. Her first house Saturn, not close enough to the Ascendant to have an impact on her physical characteristics, added the qualities of a somewhat shy and demure lady . She would have been quite proper and sensitive to the status of her position. In her younger days she was a bit overwhelmed by it all. Diana was an ambasador at large and probably would have performed well in a capacity of this type even had she not been the future Queen.

Jupiter and the Moon reside in the second. A good thing she married someone with deep pockets. The Moon is never the most stable of influences and being in the money house would have meant financial havoc for some. Jupiter of course means a lot. A lot coming in, a lot going out. Diana dressed very stylishly and very expensively. Her wardrobe was enormous. She was often chided for her lavish expenditures.

Venus in the house of love. And indeed she did love her children. Although far too wide to be an opposition, Neptune in the eleventh house is an interesting counterbalance. Charles also has a Venus in the fifth, conjunct Neptune. Not too surprising as likes attract far more in astrology than not. I suspect that Diana had her ideals and delusions regarding love and the ideal partner. This also shows a creative ability

Mercury and the Sun can be found in the seventh house. Interceptions show intensity. Having this pair of planets co-joined in the house of others is a key to the warm reception she received every where she went. Partners and relationships would be a major focus in the life of this native.

Wow! What an eighth house. Uranus, Node, Mars and Pluto. She certainly gained many attributes from her relationship with Charles. Were the resources of procreative ability what she had to give? Many have said so.

A tenth house Neptune. Were we fooled by what we perceived her to be? Was she the "Fairy Tale Princess"? This placement is a strong indicator of a glamourous and inspirational personage. She radiated an etherial quality, an ideal.

So is this really Princess Diana's chart? If you look at the physical birth time chart, you will see there is a difference of only about three degrees on the Ascendant. No planets change houses, so the difference would seem to be insignificant. There is only one small problem, that 18º rising chart will not give these results.
